Microsimulation modelling is a powerful transport planning tool that allows for the detailed dynamic evaluation of the journeys of individual vehicles by assessing their interaction with the road network, the traffic control systems and with other vehicles on the network. We can use PARAMICS, PTV VISSIM, AIMSUN, and SUMO, among others which are state-of-the-art tools, for transport planning and highway network analysis to deliver microsimulation models for a plethora of clients, including both small-scale & large-scale highway networks. The resulting models replicate the movement of pedestrians, vehicles, and cyclists on existing highway networks and predict the impacts of changes to a road network. We have attended expert led training in PTV visum to guarantee good service to our clients.
Using the extensive experience and training gained from learning HDM4 through hands-on feasibility projects and training i received from TRL, We are in position to conduct economic feasibility studies and generate reports to determine the economic benefits of project roads and weigh them against the construction costs. BIRT uses the HDM-4 model to conduct Economic Analysis (EA) and produces excellent and accurate Economic Feasibility Reports (EFR). The HDM-4 model allows economic analysis modelling over the design life of transport infrastructure facilities.
